I have not been using this long enough to write a review. I have a question out there and am waiting for the answer.
Response from Rocket Languages
Thank you for your review. We have contacted you via email regarding your question and look forward to hearing back. All the best!
It may be just because I'm early in the lessons (lesson 1 still) but there seems to be a lot of English in the audio portions and not much of me practicing Italian. Also, the dialoguie is a bit "cutesy". Finally, I find the on-going transcript to be very distracting. Seeing the dialog spelled out detracts from my having to recall the Italian words and phrases. Maybe this will get better as I get deeper into the course.

Hi there, thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that there are aspects of the course that you are not enjoying. We appreciate your feedback as we are always trying to make the course better. We have passed this on to the Italian team for their consideration. All the best!
For the price, this course is what you'd expect. It's easy to navigate through the website and the accessibility/readability is very good.
As someone taking this ASL course to refresh previous knowledge I had learned, I found it a bit hard to follow at times. I do wish the multiple choice translation quizzes involved new terms/phrases to translate, rather than the exact same videos used in the lesson module. It would be better for actual comprehension and translation practice, rather than memorizing what we just read on a previous screen.

When I realized not every module had a audio portion I was kinda disappointed. I primarily wanted this as a audio course, and although there are many audio modules its not every lesson. I am only 3 days in but it seems like a decent course though. Each module seems to throw vocab at you, but also some example sentences so its nice.

Hi Jennifer, we're sorry to hear that you are disappointed by the other lesson types. We strive to provide our learners with multiple ways to learn a language to accommodate for everyone's language-learning needs. You can always choose to skip the non-audio lessons and just listen to these to help you learn French. We wish you all the best with your French course!

I can't give a good review as I just started and already I keep getting nag screens insisting I write a review. This is after buying the entire lifetime package. Since there is no way to "don't ask again" or "wait until later" I have to say this just to stop it.

What customer service? I'm only in the first lesson though, so we'll see. Im an intermediate spanish learner from university classes and took the placement test, but I wish there was a way that would tell me what I need to study or what level to be at so I don't have to pick one at random. It seems kind of expensive compared to other options, I really liked pimsleur a lot too, and rocket spanish doesn't seem as streamlined. It does give practice on speaking though that other sites didnt. I've tried paid Duolingo (level 72), and paid pimsluer (finished Module 2), I even tried paid spanish dictionary.com (which was better than expected), and this is the only one that you don't have a monthly fee for. It also has A TON of content, but lacks some of the gamification of duolingo so it's a little more dry. The learning seems less intuitive and listening based than pimsleur though. I'll update the review if I make it through very much more of rocket spanish, but this was the fourth time it asked for a review so here it is.

We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the learning aspect of the app. We're sorry to hear that you don't like the idea of a subscription, if you'd prefer, you can purchase the course for a one-time purchase with no recurring fees. All the best!
Following the verbiage on the conversation pieces is great When repeating the words given in vocabulary, the words are spoken way too fast and it is hard to understand or to keep up with it. My recommendation would be to speak those words slower so the non-native speaker can follow easily regardless of age or where are you from. Also, the flashcards need sound for it.
Response from Rocket Languages
Hi Valerie, thank you for your review. We're glad that you are enjoying the conversation aspects of the course, we will pass your feedback concerning the speed on to the development team.
